About the Author
Chef Zubaidah melibatkan diri dalam bidang masakan dan pembuatan pastri sejak tahun 2000. Beliau pernah mengambil kursus membuat pastri dan membelajari daripada pakar-pakar masakan.
Dengan lebih daripada 10 tahun pengalaman dalam memberi kursus-kursus pembuatan pastri, Chef Zubaidah amat arif dalam pembuatan pastri seperti biskut, roti, puding, pencuci mulut, kuih talam, kuih tradisional Melayu dan pelbagai jenis kek.
Malahan, Chef Zubaidah pernah menerbitkan 2 buku masakan pastri iaitu “40 Jenis Steam Cake” dan “Aneka Biskut Raya”. Beliau juga menerbikan artikel-artikel di surat khabar Sinar dan majalah Rasa dan Saji.
Selain membuat pastri, Chef Zubaidah juga pakar dalam mengajar masakan seperti masakan tempatan, masakan Thai, masakan Cina, masakan Barat dan makanan sejuk beku Melayu.
Kini, Chef Zubaidah memberi kursus-kursus membuat pastri dan masakan lain di kedai roti secara sendiri, pertubuhan dan kelab, institusi-institusi swasta dan kerajaan pada setiap hujung minggu.

Chef Zubaidah started her career in culinary arts in year 2000. She had attended numerous baking courses and was trained by several culinary professionals.
With more than 10 years of experience in conducting baking courses, Chef Zubaidah is adept in the preparation of various tasty treats such as biscuits, pastries, breads, puddings, desserts, kuih talam, Malay traditional kuih and various type of cakes.
Chef Zubaidah has published two books on baking, namely 40 Jenis Steam Cake and Aneka Biskut Raya. She has also contributed articles in the Sinar Harian newspaper and magazines such as Rasa and Saji.
Besides baking, Chef Zubaidah is an experienced culinary instructor who specialises in local cuisine, Thai cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Western cuisine, as well as the preparation of Malay-style frozen foods.
Chef Zubaidah currently conducts a variety of baking and culinary courses for individuals, organizations, clubs, government and private institutions on weekends.
